I'm so excited to be able to share this film I recently worked on. It's written and directed by the extremely talented Shannon Bringham. I've worked with her in the past, and she always creates fantastic stories. The characters she writes are an actors dream. I can't wait to see what she does next!
As some of you know, I've gone back to film school at SJSU to study film and television. Here is my latest creation! It's a short I came up with for the semester. Enjoy!
Bay Area director,Dave Bundtzen has just released a brand new short film. I had to share this one. It's so good!
Hope you're all feeling extra fabulous today! I've got some excellent news for everyone. Here it is: The ultimate zombie romance is on the verge of being made. Yes, you heard right. A movie so powerful that nothing will get in its way. Not the moon, not a massive rolling boulder, not an angry lion (you get the point). Right now is a chance to become involved and watch it from the very beginning stages of production to the final finished film (so many f's). The Kickstarter campaign is well on its way with a few days left. Check it out here! http://bit.ly/SaveRina Any kind of help is always appreciated!
Below is the trailer, and a little taste of what is to come.

Before and After Photos
I was fortunate to be able to work with some incredibly talented folks on this film. The cast and crew were the best! They are all up on the site. Feel free to take a look at their profiles.
Oh the glorious news! Things are about it pick up BIG TIME. Emphasis on the capitals.
I'm working on a kick ass Feature titled "Weapon of Choice". It's an action adventure, and an absolute dream job. For the past few months, I've been training with the fantastic Jino Kang (director/actor). So far, I've learned how to do a Tomoe Nage, punch, kick, scratch and even a little salsa dancing.
We start the bulk of filming on the 8th and it will go for about a month. I'll tweet and blog out our progress (without giving too much away of course).
I really am so thrilled to be sharing this with everyone! I always dreamed of being in a film like this, but I'd never guess it could and would happen so fast.
Below is pic from our first day of shooting with Don Williams.
*I'm challenging myself to use twitter for 30 days straight. Some say it can't be done, but I tell them it can!
*New Credit on my IMDB! "In-World War" is a a brain-twisting, futuristic sci-fi piece that I had a small part in a few years back. Looks like they are almost finished with it.
*I took a film class this past Fall, and ended up shooting 2 sketches with my hilarious and oh-so-brilliant friend Evelyn. They are almost finished, and I'll post them sometime after WOC.
That is all for now. Until next time!
I'm excited to start a new chapter in my blog's existence. I've decided if I find some excellent material that either has to be shared, or would benefit us if it was made, then I'll post it here.
The first is, "At Dawn they Sleep". It's directed by the fantastic Henry Jacob Kim, and stars James Kyson (who you may recognize as the character Ando from the Hit TV show "Heroes"), and the lovely Rebecca Lawrence ("The Romantics", "The kids are All Right").
I play Alice, the Go-Go Dancer.
This was filmed last December, and right now there is a fundraiser campaign going on at Indiegogo. If you feel inclined, please support! :)
